Boe World Cup Skate – the skating roller ski of the Olympic champions
- Post: Aluminum profile
- Axle spacing: 700 mm
- Wheel diameter: 100 mm
- Wheel width: 24 mm
- Ski roller weight: 810g
The extended wheelbase gives it distinctly ski-like handling – ideal for anyone who doesn't want to "relearn" anything in the fall, but rather seamlessly transfers their skating style from roller skis to skis. The extended front section allows for perfect binding balance, thus preventing typical discomfort when transitioning to snow.
The 100mm wheels and lowered center of gravity ensure impressive smoothness and stability – even at high speeds and during long training sessions. This allows you to fully concentrate on technique, rhythm, and power transfer, instead of every bump in the road.
The frame, made of powder-coated aluminum, is extremely lightweight yet torsionally rigid and durable. Exactly what athletes who spend many hours a week on their scooters need: a piece of sports equipment that doesn't tire when training sessions get longer.
Holm – the heart of the Boe World Cup Skate
At the heart of the Boe World Cup Skate is the aluminum frame , specially developed for the demands of a high-end ski roller. Thanks to optimized geometry and a special alloy, the wall thickness has been significantly reduced – resulting in noticeable weight savings without compromising stability and durability.
The spar is torsionally rigid yet flexible enough to behave like a ski when pushing off. This surpasses the characteristics of classic flex spars: the riding experience becomes more dynamic, direct, and ski-like.
At the same time, the frame absorbs vibrations caused by rough road surfaces. This protects joints, reduces fatigue, and makes long rides on any asphalt significantly more comfortable. All SRB frames are pre-drilled for mounting the most common binding systems, allowing for quick and clean assembly of the Boe rollers.
Skate axle system – reliable technology for tough workouts
Those who train like the Boe brothers need a system that still runs precisely even after thousands of kilometers. That's why only high-quality ball bearings are used in the axle systems. They are permanently lubricated, maintenance-free, and ensure consistent, reliable running characteristics – whether during a relaxed base run or intensive interval training.
The system is rounded off by its proprietary thru-axle system and countersunk screws on the axles. This design minimizes the risk of the rollers touching during push-off or tight turns, thus preventing falls. More safety, more control – especially important when things get serious during training.
